This weeks newsletter, Keeping in Touch Edition 59, is for the Sunday following the Ascension of Christ. Annette gives her thoughts on Ascensiontide and the Gospel reading is from John, Chapter 17 vs 1-8 & 11. 'Father, the time has come. Glorify your son, that your Son may glorify you......'
This weeks Keeping in Touch newsletter is for Sunday 9th May 2021. This is Rogation Sunday - traditionally a time of blessing the crops and praying for a fruitful harvest. The days leading up to Ascension Day (13th May 2021) were called Rogation days and were also regarded as days to fast and prepare for celebrating Jesus' ascension into heaven. Do take a look at the information within the newsletter about Christian Aid week which is coming up this week.
Our Keeping in Touch newsletter for Sunday 2nd May 2021 is for the fifth Sunday of Easter and our gospel reading is taken from John Chapter 15....'I am the true vine...'
Here is the weekly newsletter Keeping in Touch, for Good Shepherd Sunday, 25th April 2021. We focus on Jesus' words in John Chapter 10 'I am the Good Shepherd'.
Our weekly newsletter for Sunday 18th April 2021 we are remembering Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Our services reflect this, and give thanks for his life. Take time to read Annette's reflections.
