LEARN TO RING THE BELLS
Meet people, have fun & get fit!
Please find attached this week’s Keeping in Touch for The Second Sunday in Lent. We hope to livestream our Holy Communion service from St James’ church tomorrow when we are so pleased to welcome Archdeacon Hugh McCurdy. Hopefully there will be no hiccups in the livestreaming this week! Do join us at 9.15 am but, if you miss the livestream, I shall be sending out the usual link later in the morning. At the time of writing we have no further news regarding sending items to Ukraine – as soon as any updates are received I will let everyone know. Thank you to all those who have kindly responded to our call for help.

Please find attached this week’s edition of the KIT - thank you to Mel for her thoughts on Lent – as always, very much appreciated. Whilst writing, may we thank all those in our benefice who have so wonderfully supported our call for Help for the people of Ukraine.

Please find attached the 97th edition of the KIT, which is for the Sunday before Lent. Our Gospel reading is taken from Luke 9 v 28-36 when Peter, John and James experience Christ’s Transfiguration.
Keeping in Touch Edition 97
Am attaching the 96th edition of the KIT, which is for the Second Sunday before Lent. Our Gospel Reading is taken from Luke 8 v 22 - 25 when Jesus is on a boat with his disciples and a gale blows up.
Keeping in Touch Edition 96
I am pleased to attach this week’s 95th edition of the KIT, which is for the Third Sunday before Lent. Our Gospel Reading is taken from Luke 6 v 17-26 and is all about love and on page 3, Mel kindly provides us with her reflections on the Gospel text. Thank you Mel. Sunday 13th February we hope to do our 9.15 am Holy Communion ‘livestream’ from St James’ Church. If you would like to join us at 9.15 am, type ‘Little Paxton Church’ into the YouTube search engine. Don’t worry if you have a problem connecting, I will be sending out a link to our worship as soon as I am able, after the service. We are also quite excited (and nervous) …. for our livestream service on Sunday 20th February, we plan to provide the words to the hymns and prayers to enable those at home to fully participate in our worship – the wonders of technology (and lots of learning!).
