LEARN TO RING THE BELLS
Meet people, have fun & get fit!
Here is the link to this weeks' YouTube service centering on God's protection. Many thanks to Graeme Anness and Jean Matheson for taking part in this weeks' worship.
This week Annette brings us the worship from Holy Trinity Minster Church in Great Paxton, where she chats with Paul Ward about his exhibition of lockdown pictures and how it all came about; and also with Jo and Will about the upcoming Great Paxton Scarecrow Festival - apparently there will also be a Scarecrow Vicar!
Our Gospel this week is from Mark Chapter 7 when Jesus heals a man so that he is no longer deaf or mute.
This week we are thinking about St Aidan who is remembered on 31st August (he died on 31st August 651 AD). St Aiden founded the monastery at Lindisfarne (or Holy Island) in Northumbria and was known as a kind and gentle monk and bishop.
This weeks' YouTube service is for the twelfth sunday following Trinity with the theme of 'to the rescue'.
Two of our team at St James' Church, Little Paxton take time out of their busy days to participate in this weeks' service. The Gospel reading comes from Luke Chapter 13 vs10-17.
Annette is back with our regular YouTube service and this week it is mostly filmed outside Holy Trinity Minster Church in Great Paxton. Our service celebrates Jesus' mother, Mary, and also focuses on 'Caring for our creation'. This week also features Trevor Gunton who talks with enthusiasm about Paxton Pits and how he wants to encourage more visitors to appreciate this wonderful nature reserve we are so lucky to have on our doorstep.
