This weeks' Sunday Service from Annette is the thirteenth sunday following Trinity and focuses on 'Journeying' with the gospel reading taken from Matthew Chapter 18 vs 15-20. A big thank you to Dick Saw and Mary Parnham who spoke to Annette about their cycle trip in aid of Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust (CHCT) and St Leonard's Church, Southoe. The cycling 'Ride & Stride' event takes place on 12th September. Graham Bevan will also be riding in aid of Holy Trinity Minster, Great Paxton Church. If you would like to sponsor these three please see our weekly Keeping in Touch newsletter for more details. Here is the link to this weeks service:
This year the Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust will once again be organising their 'Ride & Stride' day on Saturday 12th September 2020. Southoe's own Dick Saw and Little Paxton's Mary Parnham, both Benefice Bell Ringers, and Great Paxton's Graham Bevan will be taking part in the sponsored ride challenge.
CHCT have generously given grants and loans to all of our four Benefice churches in the past, helping projects to be completed. Mary and Dick and Graham hope to travel over 20 miles by bike on the day and visit churches in the Huntingdon and St Neots area raising money as they go!
Half of their sponsor money will go to the CHCT and half to Southoe Church. If you would like to sponsor them please contact Annette directly: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Anyone can take part in the challenge and the Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust Facebook page has details of how to get involved.
