LEARN TO RING THE BELLS
Meet people, have fun & get fit!
There is a really good new initiative from the Church of England. Here is the number: 0800 804 8044
It's free and simple. It's called the Daily Hope Line and all you do is ring the number.
You hear Archbishop Justin give a message (or you can skip the message) and then you can choose a series of options.
Press 1 for hymns with reflections; Press 2 for the hymn line on a loop; Press 3 for the prayer line; Press 4 for more options including to the Church of England's daily service and much more.
It is easy to use, especially for those that aren't using online resources.
Why not try it out and let us know what you think?

Here's the Vicar chatting away with Jimmy Bear.
She forgot to mention that amongst daily tasks during lockdown that there are also funerals to prepare and lead, though in a rather different format to normal. They can't take place in church but can go ahead at the graveside or at a crematorium with very small numbers attending.
Also - in the final prayer the words should be 'remember those at sea' not in the sea.
Concentration please, Vicar!
Here is the link to some reflections from Mel on Wednesday 29 April. Have a good day...
We hope you are keeping safe and well. Here is our next edition of Keeping in Touch. We have been working 'virtually' for six weeks now. We hope these newsletters give some comfort in interesting times.
Take a look through our latest Keeping in Touch edition, number 5. We are racing towards the end of another month. Take care and keep safe.
