I am delighted to forward the link to Mel’s regular first Wednesday of the month service of worship. The theme for May is ‘The Good Shepherd’ and I attach the service sheet that accompanies our worship.
Thank you Mel for another lovely service.
This month Annette has the pleasure of sharing the words and music for this video with Ursula Van Leeuwen-Hill at her Great Paxton home beside the church. They look at the story of the walk to Emmaus and how a stranger joined two of Jesus’ disciples and set up a conversation. It wasn’t until they ate a meal at the disciple’s house and the stranger broke bread, that they realised it was Jesus.
Sincere thanks to Ursula for letting us record our video in her home and for her lovely personal reflections which she shares with us.
Please find attached this week’s KIT with our Gospel Reading for The Third Sunday of Easter – John 21 v 1-19. Thank you Mel for your reflections on this Gospel Reading.
