Please find attached this week’s Keeping in Touch for The Second Sunday in Lent. We hope to livestream our Holy Communion service from St James’ church tomorrow when we are so pleased to welcome Archdeacon Hugh McCurdy. Hopefully there will be no hiccups in the livestreaming this week! Do join us at 9.15 am but, if you miss the livestream, I shall be sending out the usual link later in the morning. At the time of writing we have no further news regarding sending items to Ukraine – as soon as any updates are received I will let everyone know. Thank you to all those who have kindly responded to our call for help.
Keeping in Touch Edition 99
I am very pleased to be forwarding Annette’s YouTube ‘1st Sunday’ of the month’ service which is for the First Sunday in Lent. Our services includes the lovely Gwladys Thomas who kindly reads our Gospel for us and, later in the recording, reads the Lord’s Prayer in her beautiful welsh language. Thank you Gwladys! There is also a reminder of how good Annette is at tossing pancakes!
Please find attached this week’s edition of the KIT - thank you to Mel for her thoughts on Lent – as always, very much appreciated. Whilst writing, may we thank all those in our benefice who have so wonderfully supported our call for Help for the people of Ukraine.
Keeping in Touch Edition 98
I am pleased to be able to send you the link tonight for Mel’s regular monthly worship and today it is about Lent. Please find attached the service sheet to accompany the worship - you will see that we are also saying prayers for the people of Ukraine.
