This week we have a very special service which includes our Bishop of Ely, The Right Reverend Bishop Stephen Conway who confirmed four candidates at Diddington Church this week (23rd June). Follow the link below to join our worship for the fourth Sunday after Trinity. During the service we have a 'pop-up' choir who sing for the confirmation service - big thank you to Kathy Bishop, and singers from both St Neots Jewels and the choir from Buckden who helped make the evening even more special. Thank you also to Jean Matheson who shares her thoughts on her own confirmation.
Here is our weekly newsletter, having had a break last week, for Sunday 27th June 2021. This week is the fourth Sunday following Trinity where we are hearing of the Gospel reading (Mark 5 vs 21-43) of the woman who had a disease and was considered 'unclean' but healed by Jesus, and how he also touched the dead daughter of a local religious leader to bring her back to life. Mel shares her reflections in this newsletter (thank you Mel) on the Gospel reading.
This week out worship is recorded outside Manor Farm near to the Church in Great Paxton. Thank you to Ursula Van Leeuwen-Hill for reading the gospel and giving us her thoughts and reflections on the parable of the mustard seed. This weeks' video was recorded on Annette's phone and as her son Mike was unable to devote too much time to the editing this week, please forgive any little issues!
Please note there will be no video next week (20th June) but there will be one the following week (27th June). Enjoy!
Here is this weeks' edition of Keeping in Touch newsletter for Sunday 13th June 2021. A big thank you to Mel Eyeons for writing her reflections on Jesus' parables of The Kingdom of God - always very thought provoking. Do take a look at the information included about our services moving forward.
