LEARN TO RING THE BELLS
Meet people, have fun & get fit!
Our theme this sunday, for thetenth sunday following Trinity, continues from last week and we look at when Jesus said to the crowd 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty', which comes from our Gospel reading this week, John Chapter 6 vs 35, 41-51.
Annette's YouTube services will resume next week.

We are delighted to post Mel's mid-week worship for Wednesday 4th August 2021. This week is about the Transfiguration of Jesus, for which the feast day is 6th August. The link to Mel's video and service sheet is below.
This week is the ninth sunday following Trinity and here is our weekly newsletter for this week. The theme of this week's Gospel passage is Jesus 'The Bread of Life' (John 6 vs 24-35). Thank you to Mel for providing her superb reflections on the Gospel reading.
We also have some wonderful news.....this week Annette's son Mike welcomed his son, Theo, into the world. Annette is very grateful for all the good wishes the family have received. In the circumstances I am sure you will agree that Mike will be having a couple of weeks rest from producing and editing the YouTube videos!
This week we are celebrating St James the Greater, Patron Saint of Little Paxton Church, for the eighth week following Trinity. This week Annette interviews Catherina Griffiths from St Neots who is a keen bell ringer and traveller and she tells us about her memories of her journey to Santiago de Compostella (believed to be the birth place of St James). Catherina also kindly reads the Gospel this week taken from Matthew Chapter 20 vs 20-28.
This week is the eighth week following Trinity and we are celebrating St James the Greater, Patron Saint of Little Paxton Church. As you will see, the weekyly newsletter outlines our future services. We are ahoping to continue with First Sunday as Holy Communion and then Morning Prayer for the following sundays. This may change as we move into Autumn. Please keep an eye out for future information.
